ON OUR MINDS – MARCH 2012

After the launch of a new and improved website, the GB Group is excited to announce it has finally entered the world of SOCIAL MEDIA via FACEBOOK and TWITTER.

Our Marketing department has been hard at work throughout the entire month of February preparing what is now an awesome means of communication. We have a lot of things to share – as you’ve might have noticed thru our news posts – and now it’s time to not only share in real time but more importantly, its time to hear back from you!

It’s interesting to note that more than 100M Facebook users login to the popular platform once a day in the US alone. That’s 70% of all active users (Ogilvy & BuddyMedia). 48% of Twitter users check their accounts at least once a day (Exact Target). Social Media (Twitter/Facebook/Blog Posts) accounts for 25% of all time spent online. That is over 35 minutes per hour! (Nielsen). [1]

Aside from contributing to Facebook and Twitter’s increasing percentages we want to be with you those 35 minutes of each hour.  We not only want to join you out-there, we want to improve, learn and innovate in any way that we can with your help.

Our goal is to interact on a daily basis with those interested in what we’re interested in: rebuilding Haiti, improving the education system, corporate social sustainability, environmental protection, giving back, ideas, fueling sports, stimulating the arts, connecting future partners, supporting healthcare, discovering new business ventures and learning about real people’s experiences.

Additionally, we want to discover new interests that will open our minds to different and greater things.

A GBG monthly newsletter is in the works for which you’ll be able to subscribe to in the near future.
