GB Group launches GB Energy in the Caribbean

The GB Group first entered the energy industry in Haiti in 2003 and most recently finalized the acquisition of the downstream assets of Chevron Texaco in three additional countries in the Caribbean.

This week, GB Group successfully completed the launch of GB Energya GB Group Industry – in its offices in Dominican Republic, Jamaica & St. Maarten in an internal multinational coordinated event.

Both Jesús Summo (CEO for GB Energy in Dominican Republic & St. Maarten) and Mauricio Pulido (CEO for GB Energy in Jamaica) addressed team members recapping GB Group’s history, GB Energy’s inception and the key roles each market plays within the group.

A toast, refreshments and gifts bags ensued while employees enjoyed each other’s company and celebrated being part of such a committed and successful corporate family.

GB Energy is very proud of its growing team of professionals all of whom enjoy profound industry expertise and local know-how successfully managing 400+ retail service stations, 3 petroleum terminals and 9 airport aviation-fueling operations.
