GBG Energy-Texaco reward service stations where the Customer comes first.

With a relentless focus on the customer, GB Energy – Texaco promote a top notch experience in the service provided to each customer through its flagship program “Customer First.”

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic., May 27, 2013 – GBG Energy – Texaco, recognized service stations and employees on a national level within the framework of the program “The Customer Comes First.”

This program was created in 2001 in order to motivate Texaco retailers and employees to deliver consistently exceptional service to its customers on a permanent basis. Through this program, service representatives, cashiers, managers and retailers are recognized throughout the year thanks to the results of the Mystery Shopper Program performed each quarter.

Jesus Summo, General Manager to GB Energy – Texaco in Dominican Republic, stated that “the program measures performance in terms of delivering a consistent, superior experience to our customers while providing our retailers with feedback on opportunities for improvement in their business.” He added that “this program’s inception and implementation on a national level, has allowed the Texaco brand to maintain high quality standards in the areas of customer service and security.”

Retailers rely on a website where various tools & features exist such as: results and reporting, incentive programs for tellers, retailers, administrators and service representatives, training and customer appreciation day alerts.

The retail Gold award winners were:

  • Ms. Sandra Reyes – San Francisco de Macoris station
  • Ms. Afra Zorrilla – National Theatre station
  • Mr. César Mora – San Martin station
  • Mr. Rafael Rojas – Hato Mayor station

In the Silver category the winners were:

  • Mr. Koki Sato – Tireo station
  • Jose Elias Peña – Pangola station
  • Cenoví Caceres – Apolinar station 
  • Jose Taveras – Villa Altagracia station

In addition, Supervisors and Representatives from the Algodonal, Arroyo Hondo, Tireo, Villa Altagracia, Barahona, Nisibón, San José de las Matas, San Francisco de Macoris and Induveca service stations were also recognized for their stellar Customer Service.

The winners received cash prizes and motorcycles.

The award ceremony took place in Santo Domingo and Santiago as part of training for “The Customer Comes First” initiative.
