With project “Ayiti Se,” the versatile and talented singer Michael Benjamin, also known as Mikaben, gave himself a personal mission to promote his country, highlighting its roots, natural resources, culture and history through film & music.
In this documentary, sponsored in part by GB Group’s own Aciérie d’Haiti, Mikaben takes us on a journey throughout Haiti.
Accompanied by musician friends, radio and television hosts, Mikaben brings us not only many of Haiti’s natural and historical sites, but also guides the audience to rediscover Haiti’s culture.

“I made this documentary as a reminder to the world that Haiti remains the ‘Pearl of the Antilles.’ I also want to encourage our people to use this song as a motivation, to remind them of the greatness of our nation” said Mikaben.
For 28 weeks starting today June 14, 2013, Mikaben will be touring Haiti and invites you to come along with him to explore and rediscover Haiti.
This tour will be broadcast in Haiti via a televised series and weekly newspaper articles and with the rest of the world on Facebook and Twitter. Jacmel is the first place we will visit together! Stay tuned.
