June 1st, 2019, Philipsburg, Sint Maarten.- GB Energy – Texaco has entered into a new supply and equipment loan agreement with a corporate partner in St. Maarten: Windward Islands Airways (Winair).
Winair is a locally operated airline in Sint Maarten which has recently expanded their services to various Caribbean Islands, including popular destinations such as Curacao and the Dominican Republic.
GB Energy provided the equipment and the technical expertise necessary to install a self-contained, above-ground tank to store and supply Texaco’s own Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel to the entire Winair truck fleet.
Winair CEO, Mr. Michael Cleaver commended GB Energy on their assistance after Hurricane Irma and continued to mention that without GB Energy’s support, they would have not been able to satisfy their customers’ demand in such a timely manner.
In addition, GB Energy St. Maarten’s CEO, Bela Szabo, expressed his commitment to continue to provide the highest service standards to Winair and looks forward to strengthening their partnership with the airline company.
