GB Energy delivered training on LPG’s safe handling to ensure first class service to its St. Maarten customers.
Sint Maarten, March 2019 – GB Energy St. Maarten recently held an LPG Training for its local employees, distributors, and personnel from its regional office, alongside representatives from United Petroleum Company of the Dominican Republic at the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina hotel.
The main objective of the training was to target the understanding of LPG and is safe handling, including its transportation and storage. The training also included consumer safety and emergency response and was based on the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association)’s LPG codebook.
The instruction was delivered by a certified LPG consultant, Mr. Lionel Innis, who has extensive experience in LPG safety handling and operations.
The training included hands-on live refilling of LPG Bulk Tanks at various customer locations.
