Jamaica, March 5th, 2015.- “Newly appointed president to the American Chamber of Commerce of Jamaica (AmCham), Ron McKay, has called upon the Government and business leaders to place serious focus on vocational education speaking at AmCham’s ‘Beyond Our Borders’ reception held at The Knole in Stony Hill, St. Andrew last Thursday night where United States (US) Ambassador Luis Moreno was a guest speaker.

McKay, CEO of the Montego Bay based ADS Global said: ‘I have heard it and experienced it. Jamaica’s education system needs a radical shake-up. It needs to be in better tune with 21st-century realities, otherwise this beautiful country runs the risk of falling further behind.’ ” (i)

GB Energy – Jamaica is delighted to find itself aligned with AMCHAM Jamaica President having seized the opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement’s BizTown earlier this year where grade-five students are able to experience real world business scenarios.
