Punta Cana, Dominican Republic March 7th, 2015.- Over 20,000 people enjoyed the 8th annual Punta Cana Carnival yesterday in all its splendor where GB Energy – Texaco was proud to serve as sponsor once again!
“We are honored to be part of such an emblematic celebration in this coastal Dominican,” said Pablo Portes, GB Energy Dominicana CEO.
This year, GB Energy – Texaco supported the vibrant Israeli delegation in honor of Mr. Gilbert Bigio’s heritage, GB Group Chairman and GB Energy majority stakeholder.
The festive yearly tradition once again included colorful and elaborate international delegations as well as national floats from different regions across the Dominican Republic including: the Barahona Pintaos, the Cabral Cachuas and the Baní Robalagallinas.
The lively closing party was held in the Punta Cana Village featuring popular artist Tony Dize where attendees danced the night away.
