Aciérie d’Haiti’s new facilities continue to progress smoothly

Following damages suffered in the January 2010 earthquake, adh begun the construction process of a new 150,000 sq. ft. production facility in August of 2011 destined to house most of the company’s production lines under a single roof.

Today, with the help of photographer Marc Lee Steed, we’re happy to share adh’s progress which has come a long way from the pictures we shared 4 months ago.

As reported earlier, the company selected Leger & Associates and CODELPA as the main contractors in this historical undertaking required to strengthen the company’s leadership role in the Haitian market.

After careful planning and engineering studies, adh has also commissioned new production capacities from strategic suppliers of manufacturing and support equipment in such a way that the new production lines will come online soon after the completion of the new buildings.

We’re eager to share with you the latest progress pics. Visit adh on facebook and stay tuned!

****REMEMBER adh is in full operation and production has continued flawlessly alongside structural improvements.****

NOTE: Demolition of the damaged facilities were performed by HRG (Haiti Recovery Group), another GB Group Affiliated company.
